WEEKLY ELECTION UPDATE

After two years of phone calls, postcards and rallies, it's come down to Election Day. The members of Talbot Rising have sponsored candidate forums, voter education events, and conducted voter registration drives all around the Eastern Shore. Now, there's one last, very, very important thing:

Get Out The Vote

• If you've already voted, that's great. Find someone who hasn't.
• If you haven't voted, do that first thing Tuesday  morning and then round up your friends.
• Help canvass and make phone calls.

With just over 24 hours until the polls open, the momentum is shifting toward candidates who will return civility and accountability to our government.

Even Rep. Andy Harris is feeling the heat.  Harris is turning to negative campaign flyers to bolster his flagging campaign and even reports on Fox News say he is vulnerable.

We have endorsed several candidates, and here is contact information on how you can help in these final hours. You can stop by Democratic HQ in Easton to help with phone calls for candidates.

You can also sign up online for canvassing or phone banking for Jesse Colvin's congressional race by clicking here.
